With the election fast approaching, the word has come out that the religious right have opened all cynlinders of attack on Obama.
Fine by me. Let the world see how morally empty they are.

Alvin, today it was revealed that even the French president, Sarkosy, is concerned about an Obama presidency. Do you have any comments on his concern?
I've heard but it doesn't bother me. I think it's funny that Republicans like McCain have seized on the comments. Has that resolution to rename french fries into freedom fries been overturned yet?
Kinda hilarious that some of us gave France a lot of hell for opposing our invasion into Iraq and then all of the sudden want to embrace their president's comments because they are against Obama.
BTW Sarkozy was commenting on a small section of a comment Obama said in May. Here is the full comment:

And one more thing - Obama has already clarified the comments a long time ago. Why they are coming up again kinda demonstrates McCain's desperation.

To the contrary, the in-depth discussions between the President of the Republic and Senator Obama on Iran during their meeting in Paris in July demonstrated a broad convergence of views on this issue. President Sarkozy and Senator Obama agree to oppose Iran's development of a military nuclear capability," said the communique issued through the French embassy in Washington, D.C.

Could Sarkosy be trying to backpedal? I don't know. If you will read my link, Sarkosy wasn't "public" about his concerns of an Obama presidency.
Now you are spinning conspiracy theories. Until there is proof that he is backtracking, you really can't say such.
And remember he was comenting on a clip of a comment, not the entire comment.
Can you tell me one politician/leader that does not speak out of both sides of their mouth from time to time?
Charles, speculation is NOT evidence. Skarozy was accused of making a comment. His people said he DID NOT make that comment. Now in a court of law, that would be the end of it. Why is that so hard to figure out?
