Monday afternoon news briefs

Today has been wild with so much stuff going on. So I am going to make a special new briefs edition of events happening today:

BREAKING: Confirmed, Mormon Web site shows Obama's mother as baptized after death - The controversy I linked to today regarding the Mormon Church and President Obama's mother has been confirmed. Batten down the hatches!

Photos Taken of Me as a Teenager - So was Carrie underaged when she took the pictures or not? I also hear that she may be in trouble for contract violation. Oh well, she can always blame THE GAYS.

Gov. Lynch at center of gay marriage debate in NH - Look at this! The New Hampshire House Committee just endorsed the marriage equality bill. Will the Governor sign it?

Washington, D.C., Council Approves Recognition of Out-of-State Gay Marriage - And the vote wasn't even close.

Same-Sex Marriage Advances in Maine - One more step to go! All we need is the Governor's signature.

The Irish Association of Social Workers Reject ‘Ex-Gay’ Therapy - There is NO such thing as too much good news.

Oh, yes, they can blame the gays.

I watched O'Reilly tonight. Miss California's pastor is African-American. He claims to know many of ex-gays, but no ex-African-Americans. And, claims that being homosexual is just a behavior. I don't think that I have ever heard that before.

That thing about knowing ex-gays but not ex-blacks is just a stupid talking point. He should be saying he knows many blacks who have tried to pass as white just like some gays try to pass as straight.

It is a talking point that is far too often used. When is someone an ex-gay? Do you have to be celibate for one or two years? There is a certain morality in not deceiving a member of the opposite sex into thinking that you are straight in order to fit into society.

I know but some of these folks play games with themselves and others.

People are always whining about married men secretly engaging in gay relationships. They refuse to acknowledge that their ignorance causes this sort of thing to happen.
