Group's video claims that contraception leads to homosexuality

The following video is proof that some people should shy away from Youtube:

According to the Huffington Post:

Produced by a group of Roman Catholic nuns calling themselves the Children of Mary order, "You Deserve to Know the Truth: Contraception” pairs some puzzling statistics with generic clip art. The often unintentionally humorous, low-budget clip also cites a 1970s-era study in which a male monkey became "confused" when female monkeys were injected with birth control drugs, and began to have "sexual interactions" with other males in the tribe. "With the prevalence of contraception, it's no wonder adultery is on the rise, as is promiscuity, homosexual behavior, and even abortion due to failed contraception," the narrator proclaims.

What I do not understand is how they are claiming that birth control is to blame for homosexuality. Does this mean there was birth control in Biblical times? Does this mean homosexuality is not a choice, but the creation of nature due to infertile females? I am very confused by this because their reasoning is that a man would prefer an infertile male to an infertile female. I am scratching my head all over the disproportional reasoning presented by their claims.

So, if contraception is thwarting the will of god to decide when fertilization happens, isn't celibacy also thwarting that will? Cuz the very man that said contraception was thwarting the will of god was also deciding for himself not to have children....

Also, I find it interesting that Christians love science when they can use it to promote their own aims, but then hate it when the conclusions don't fit their world view. So we're animals when we talk about pheromones (not true), but we're higher than animals when we're supposed to choose 'love over pleasure'? Human sexuality has outgrown pheromones. We don't have the sense of smell to detect them most often. There's a reason pheromone colognes/perfumes don't really work at enticing every woman/man in the room. So basically, they are arguing that 1 million or more years of evolution has happened only in the last century. Um, no.

Further, animals don't have a hang up with gay sex like this twisted species does. And actually we didn't have this hang up till Judaism, so out 1 million years of human years of human existence it's only been 3000 or so years retardation. I'd say if anything is unnatural here, it's religion and its desperate obsession with controlling what people do in the privacy of their own home.
