Perhaps it's because there aren't any secular reason to ban gay marriage, so religious (reasons) is all he has.<br /><br />Still, I am a bit surprised he didn't bother to try any of the usual "gay is a choice", or "gays are unnatural" shticks. He didn't even make any mention of ex-gays. Apart from whining about the judges, his reason for Amendment One just a blunt "God made marriage to be between a man and a woman."<br /><br />In fact, now that I think of it, as May 8th approached, most of the anti-equality group were gradually going from unscientific reasons, to just plain "Marriage is between one man (pause...) and one woman."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
