Sometimes God makes them male and female at the same time.

(And do you really want to go with the example of Adam and Eve? God did after all design it so that their children would have to marry each other.)

“…and the two shall become one flesh … What therefore God has joined together let not man separate.”

Unless by divorce? Yet you think gay people are the real threat to “marriage,” AND you want to be taken seriously?!?

“[W]hy would you choose [a Christian artist] who publicly states homosexuality is not a sin?”

How can something be a sin if there is no victim?
--
Alvin McEwen: “How is our criticism of Burrell proof of so-called anti-Christian persecution, but AFA's criticism of Underwood isn't seen as the same thing?”

They’re using Christianity as a euphemism for “supremacism.” We are persecuting them, just as any minority should stand up to any supremacist group attempting to subjugate them.

Star Parker’s attempt to defend Burrell: “It should be clear that what motivates the pro-homosexual movement is not advancing a free and tolerant society.”

The “homosexual agenda” is an equality agenda, so yes, we are not “advancing” a society that feels “free” to be arbitrarily intolerant.

“This is fascism, not freedom.”

Who has taken away your “freedom” to hate and spread hate?

“It behooves us to point out that rejection of homosexual behavior does not come from some crank that woke up in the night and decided it's not OK. We are talking about biblical scripture that has been guiding Christians for a few thousand years.”

Correct. We’re not talking about just a crank, we’re talking about “cranks” who wake up EVERY night and decide that because they think gay sex is disgusting, so much more must God. And not only does the Bible NOT condemn homosexuality -- IN ANY OF THE BIBLE BASHING QUOTES -- but worse, Star, you’re using it to justify your own unrepentant supremacism - or to put in terms you may understand better, your own victimization of LGBT people.Patrick Fitzgeraldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14563436596716060938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33855769.post-80656946359684674592017-01-12T11:07:15.539-08:002017-01-12T11:07:15.539-08:00Okay, here goes:

It says nothing about religion or any other restrictions on any segment of said General Public.

Florists, bakers, photographers and other businesses are not churches. Businesses, being for profit, cannot be owned and run by a church.

Ellen is on the air because of her points of view. She invites people who's opinions generally mesh with hers. That keeps her show of interest to enough viewers to remain on the air. Do we need to ask our neighbors who we can have in or refuse to allow in, our homes? Didn't think so.

As a boy I was taught that my Rights ended when those Right began limiting the Rights of another - outside of my door or chosen church. If anything was forced upon me it was that, in public, not everyone will share my opinion on anything. In short, I had to learn to 'agree to disagree'.

Forgive me for this wondering narrative. As I can no longer be considered a young man, I find it increasingly difficult to "keep quiet", as I was also taught, in this era of events.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10530929336438334523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33855769.post-8006593149169119372017-01-12T08:11:23.380-08:002017-01-12T08:11:23.380-08:00The Christian Supremists are afraid of Sharia Law ...The Christian Supremists are afraid of Sharia Law taking over in American. Well, folks, watch out. Sharia Law is coming under the Trump administration but not the Islamic version they are fearing. It's the one being used more and more in state legislatures, local school boards, and city and county board meetings and in the House and Senate and soon enough, the Supreme Court. Mark my word. the Christian version of Sharia Law is coming. And coming fast. So much for the separation of church and state. So much for the constitution. How much do you think the government can get for thre Stature of Liberty at the scrap yard. It no longer represents what we are becoming as a nation.gordon claynoreply@blogger.com
