Did someone suddenly declare war on lgbt youth?

I am at a loss for words tonight. Two awful stories and I don't understand either one. Did someone suddenly declare war on our lgbt children?:

  1. my heart bleeds for these young people. i was a victim of bullying all through my school days, although not because i was gay but because i was autistic (i am one of those high functioners).

i find it disgusting that groups like focus on the family ar against anti bullying measures claiming it is part of some gay agenda when all they are doing is making sure that they can legally bully people using religion.

i have wrote on this subject to my local paper last year. i styled it as a christian praising efforts to keep my childs ability to taunt and bully gay kids and any other child as my god given right and managed to really stab those righties in the back with it. i often use their rhetoric and twist it around back at them. it earned me a fan club amongst the papers more liberal readers.

on a side note, lily tomlin was in south bend, indiana at st. mary's college. nary a protest from the righties but when newt gingrich rolled into town he got protested and bashed in the forums of the paper.

  3. It's been an all-out war on LGBTs since Stonewall. Hell, even BEFORE Stonewall!

    When will it STOP?

Kevin, these people declared war on us in 1865, just after your people were released from bondage. They had to have some group to persecute in order to make their ditch digging little lives seem superior to someone.
