ReplyDeleteAs for Schilling...I may be a Yankee fan (born and raised!) but the '04 Red Sox world series sweep is easily on the podium of heartwarming moments in baseball. And whether we like it or not, Schilling was instrumental in making that happen.
It's a terrible shame that he allowed the darkness in his heart to fester to such a degree, that his actions off the field to overshadow his accomplishments on the field, to such an extent that his former comrades-at-bat don't even want to speak with him.
