People like Janet Porter of Faith2Action can sometimes make me forget how they actually help lgbt equality by opening their mouths and showing their ignorance.
It's bad enough when people like Janet Porter portray us gay men as sexual predators, but when they imply the same about our youth, it's time to put them on blast.
For your edification, Porter is the same type who once prayed or rather demanded that God give people like her control of the media:
Janet Porter is a quintessential problem with American Christianity - people so wrapped up in their own egos that they refuse to acknowledge how their bearing of false witness turns so many people away from Christ.
Hat tip to Right Wing Watch.

Good point. Their ego is also VERY fragile.
Case in point about the anti's - a guy went to an anti-abortion protest and asked one question of everyone he put in front of the camera.
The question was "What penalty should be levied against the woman who has an abortion?" I've never seen so many deer in the headlights looks.
And that's every bigoted Christian out there. They seize on the half dozen passages in the Bible that only allude to same sex relationships and completely ignore a lot of the hundreds of other passages that ask them to be humble.
A lot of that is because they never read the source text themselves, but had it spoon fed to them by bigoted pastors who think that hate sells. And it does.
