A few thoughts about what you have just seen:
First of all, this is not a parody. This seems to be taken from an episode of Pat Robertson's "The 700 Club."
This Christopher West guy is a STRANGE one and what exactly is "theology of the body." That's just creepy.
Lastly, I was so blown away by that long-winded, absolutely Tommy Chongish explanation of heterosexual sex that I almost missed getting angry when he next compares gay and lesbian relationships to alcoholism and sexual addiction.
I almost WISH this guy was a witness at the Prop 8 trial.
To those who seek to stop gays and lesbians from getting married - if you even condone this guy's explanation of why marriage equality shouldn't be allowed, then I suggest you start buying us gays and lesbians the wedding rings NOW!

I'd like true freedom from his compulsion to shove his religion down everyone's throats.
I think he's just not doing it right.
"Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman."
- I Corinthians 7:1 (KJV)
I am used to bible thumpers ignoring the gospels, but to ignore the teachings of Paul (the true savior in their eyes), that is some serious stupidity
I'd really be creeped out if I found the mystery of Jesus and the church in my bedroom.
Spoiler: Marriage is about makin' babies, and ONLY for makin' babies.
Even in this respect, it still isn't an excuse to ban SSM. Sure, two men and two women marrying can't make babies* (I'm aware of surrogacy and in-virto, but not my point here), since two guys or gals marrying can't stop a straight couple from having kids.
*how come two people of the same gender living and being together is fairly neutral for the people who say marriage is for makin' babies, yet if the couple get married, the whole world will go to hell?
As long as I'm on a roll: how obtuse do you have to be to call homosexuality an "addiction" just because people who happen to be attracted to the same sex would prefer to have sex with the same sex?
I'm sorry but I only got two things from this, (after I got done laughing). The first minute or so had me having visions of Jesus screwing the Church, or vice versa. By the end, I was left with only one serious, well, maybe serious, question. Does that mean that people who die virgins don't get to go to Heaven?
So we're to believe every time Snookie and whoever get it on the mystery of Jesus and the church are being revealed. M'kay.
A "theology of the body" is a real thing. What does it mean to have/be bodies? What is the nature of embodiment? What are our bodies for? Etc.
The sneer in the host's voice when he talks about "freedom" really sells this.
I don't know what creeps me out more:
That he makes love and lovemaking about mechanics or that (straight) pornography would, by his argument, be just right to introduce people to the mystery of Jseus and his church.
