Kansas legislators override veto on anti-trans sports ban law which would require genital inspections' & other Thur midday news briefs

Transgender student athlete ban on the books in Kansas, following three years of GOP campaigning​ - Here is an interesting feature of the law.  They want to "protect" girls sports so much that they now will be subjecting them to situations in which people can demand to inspect their genitals: 

"The legislation requires children to participate in school activities based on the gender they were assigned at birth, from elementary school to college. Challenges could require them to undergo genital inspections, or require a birth certificate for proof of the child’s gender."
