For now, there is a very strong chance that the upcoming 2024 presidential election will be a rematch of the 2020 election. Some people are bellyaching over it because they don't like either candidate.
I say get over it.
There is no surprise about who I'm supporting. President Biden has done a wonderful job as far as I' concerned, particularly in this ultra petty political climate where everyone - including pundits - care more enriching themselves than serving and educating the public.
Most specifically, Trump has always been a disaster. There aren't enough words in the English language which I can use to properly articulate how much I despise that man. As to why, there are so many reasons to choose from. If I had to pick one, it would be how he botched the COVID pandemic response and thus is responsible for the deaths of countless Americans. That's bad enough in itself but to make it even worse, Trump and his supporters are going to gaslight us about what he did.

The first video below features a timeline of Trump downplaying COVID even though he knew from the start how serious it was. The second video underscores that point because it is a timeline showing how the pandemic was growing and it includes Trump telling journalist Bob Woodward that he knew how serious COVID was from the beginning.

I love Jonathan Swan’s interview with our idiotic president on Covid!! He nailed it. I hate how Trump told the states to work it out on their own, as far as supplies for Covid. Said the governors can manage medical supplies. I hate how Jared Kushner said about the Federal stockpile, “It's not supposed to be states' stockpiles that they then use”. I hate how Trump shipped China 17 tons of American masks and medical supplies in early February, 2020. Disgusted that Trump said “anyone who wants a test can get one”. I developed Covid symptoms in early March, 2020. I live in St. Paul, MN. Was told the nearest test site was in Hibbing, MN, about 190 miles away. Cannot believe our idiot President told all of us ”it’ll go away in April, when it’s warmer.” Wanted everyone to be able to celebrate Easter, wanted schools to be open again. Even after this clown got Covid, he was given medications that weren’t available to the public yet. First thing he did when he left the hospital was to take off his mask. Ugh, don’t get me started on hydroxychloroquine. It’s estimated that 17,000 people died from use of that drug. In April, Trump suggested 'injection' of disinfectant to beat coronavirus and 'clean' the lungs. In the video during that press conference, you can see Dr. Deborah Birx cringing. Let’s not forget he “fired” Dr. Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. What a coward. Even after all of this, he’s still going to run again?! Gawd help us.
Don't worry. Hasan and all the other idiot left-wing pundits will spend the next year bitching and moaning that Biden can't turn water into wine, while the literal Antichrist that is Trump is about to slither his way back into power. Just like TYT with Hillary in '16.
They will then flip out, wonder how on Earth this could've happened, and blame anyone and everything but themselves for this awful situation.
My biggest fear isn't that the right-wing is going to stab us in the front. We know they will, we're prepared for it, we can handle it. It's that the "progressive" wing of the Dems is going to trip over their shoelaces and stab us in the back through sheer incompetence.
