National Coming Out Day brings HRC's messages of love and support to LGBTQ youth

Tuesday is National Coming Out Day and this year is a one in which we need a reminder of just how significant and empowering it is to come out. We've been having to deal with an onslaught of anti-LGBTQ hysteria fueling discriminatory legislation and attacks on our very existence.

And our kids have been taking the brunt of it.

The Human Rights Campaign asked older members of the community to record messages of love and support to our kids about coming out. These recorded messages, though meant for our kids, is nourishment for all of our souls. They serve to remind us that no matter how they try, haters can't ever take away our pride, dignity, and love.
