The response to the coronavirus pandemic was probably Donald Trump's first true test as president. After spending the majority of his term taking credit for Obama's work and dodging -with help - the repercussions of his own behavior,  Trump had an opportunity to prove right the folks who voted him in office. And he failed miserably. As the video above shows, his awful stewardship is the reason why the United States presently leads the world in confirmed coronavirus deaths with over 100,000. I know I sound like a broken record here but it's important to repeat these facts. There are entities out there who are doing their level best to absolve Trump from all responsibility for the state we are presently in.

I know this because I know a few LGBTQ Trump supporters. I honestly can't tell you why they are acting against their own self-interests. I can only say that watching the video above puts things in perspective in terms of what they are deceiving themselves about. And for that matter, it should serve as a reminder to all LGBTQ people that this isn't something to be nonchalant about. Trump declared a silent war on us four years ago. And we cannot afford another four years of his stealthy war on our rights, families, and safety.
