ENDA would not prevent discrimination in housing purchase or lease. ENDA would not prevent discriminatory service in stores, restaurants, or other places of business. ENDA would only (if it ever passes) bar discrimination in hiring and promotion (but not for small employers, religious institutions, or certain other groups).
This is America. Discrimination will persist for a long, long time.
ENDA is still a step in the right direction ;p
