Every struggle for equality needs its moments of comedy and the lgbt struggle, particularly in South Carolina, will receive ours today.
The word is that Fred Phelps and his Westboro church of "God Hates Fags" will be at the State House in Columbia at 11 a.m. this morning. Apparently they had been protesting in North Charleston and felt the need to make a stop in Columbia.
I won't even waste time giving background on Phelps and his motley group of misfits, but needless to say that I WILL be at the State House to take pictures, talk to people, maybe try to "convert" the cuter members of the group.
Just kidding about that last one.
But can the Phelps group co-exist in the same environment as me - the B-teamer, the Black Tsunami?
It WILL be interesting.

I feel so sorry for the children being raised by this family/cult.
There was actually one little boy there and it was hilarious what he was doing. I've got a picture of it.
I'm totally with you on that one Rosemary. It's really sad!
