Pat Robertson: Gays wanting to force acceptance for sexual activity
As ignorant as this comment is, you would be surprised how many people - some who will no doubt claim that they have gay friends - espouse this point of view.

The mutterings of a senile, old man. The "majority" would like him to shut up.
Utterly ridiculous that people still think that way. It's people like him who boggle minds; that they want to ostracize and punish a group of people solely because he doesn't approve of "the way they do sex". That he thinks the Scouts are being "torn apart" because they've decided to be more inclusive. That he thinks letting gay people marry who they love is going to hurt the concept of marriage. Poor ignorant heartless bastard.
It's ridiculous and scary that people still think this way. This poor ignorant heartless old fool... he and his group are the minority, whining because they're being told not to treat people like garbage because of, in his words, "the way they do sex."
These bigots are the ones who are making this about sex; for everyone else, the movement for gay rights is just about equal rights for everyone, regardless of who and how they love.
