I contacted my grocery store and asked them about putting a sticker in their window. It is a co-op and I am an owner. The response I got was that they try not to get involved in political issues. I told them that if the law went into effect for even a short time people like myself could find themselves in a difficult situation when it comes to finding needed goods, and having something that says they don't discriminate would be helpful for people like myself. I sent them the link to talk it over. I think anyone within the LGBT community in Indiana should call a business to see if they'd consider putting a sticker up. Even if they say no or put a notice up of their own it will send a message.

Hey Erica,

The most important thing is that you did something to make folks aware of what's going on. I commend you for doing that ;p

This disgusting law gives all those bigoted Indiana business owners the right to claim they are "exercising their religious freedom" each time they refuse to provide service to anyone on the basis of skin color, surname, country of origin, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation. No matter how Gov. Pence & his colleagues in the legislature try to sugar-coat this law, it plainly legalizes discrimination. I support the calls for boycotts against all Indiana businesses, sports & cultural events and organizations supporting such a hateful law.
