'Trump Administration abandons attempt to ban hospitals from providing trans care. Decides to endanger LGBTQ foster kids' & other Wed/Thur news briefs

Trump backs off attempt to nationally ban hospitals from providing trans care - A victory which means a lot of things. To my cynical side, it means that the Trump Administration doesn't see any leverage from their attempts after constant court losses.

Trump administration caves to public pressure after avalanche of opposition to anti-trans hospital rule - But a firestorm of opposition didn't hurt, including over 30,000 public comments submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Regardless of anything, don't ever let anyone make you believe that not being silent doesn't change things. Folks came together big time on this one.

Trump ends Biden-era rule supporting LGBTQ+ foster kids: “Puts children at risk… plain & simple” - However, as one battles nears to a close, another one strikes up. These hypocrites are always talking about "protecting children" except for when it comes to LGBTQ children.

The SF Giants had 48 hours to fix Pride Night. They chose not to. - Disappointing behavior from the SF Giants coming from its Pride Night debacle.
